PCA-OCR 2018 Autocross Series Awards Presentation Mar 2nd, 2019

PCA-OCR 2018 Autocross Series Awards Presentation

As sent out on 1/25/19 8:30 am by PCA-OCR Secretary Monica Asbury

Hello OCR,

As many of you know, Ted Hoiberg has been appointed to the OCR Board as the Performance Driving Chair, and is overseeing OCR's Autocross Program. Ted has been working diligently on gathering the 2018 Autocross Award recipient information and plans to hold the Autocross Award Presentation on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Original Mike's in Santa Ana during the regularly scheduled monthly Breakfast Club Meeting.

For some time now, our Club has known the El Toro track is giving way to the Great Park's expansion plan. We have been informed the El Toro track is no longer available for rent. This can be confirmed if you read or saw Sunday's O.C. Register. The Great Park's plans can no longer accommodate OCR's Autocross Program. Therefore, alternate locations are being reviewed for possible Autocross events. If you know of a cost-effective location that could be considered for an Autocross venue within the area, please reply to: Ted Hoiberg: with your suggested recommendations. While we have also used San Pedro, as well as Anaheim Stadium in the past, please note the cost of using Anaheim Stadium is prohibitive.

We look forward to seeing the many Autocross Award Recipients at Original Mike's Breakfast Club Meeting on March 2nd to receive their award.

Thank you!
