The Boucher/Schneider Zone 8 Time/Speed/Distance Rally

WHEN: REGISTRATION 9:00 a.m. - 9:40 a.m.
FIRST CAR LEAVES AT 10:01 a.m.

WHERE: SEARS UPPER PARKING LOT
SANTA BARBARA’S LA CUMBRE PLAZA
EXIT Hwy 101 (North) at Hope Ave. in S.B.
Left at SIGNAL. Right at SIGNAL.
Right into Sears upper parking lot.

COST: $35 per car at the start, $30 per car
if you pre-register by May 4, 2013.
Enjoy a no-host lunch with your fellow
participants at the end of the event, followed
by the awards presentation.

CLASSES: Novice, Tour, SOP, NAV, Expert.

NOVICES: No experience required. Good stuff to bring:
navigator, time-of-day watch, clipboard, paper,
pencil(s), and a water bottle. You will have fun,
even if you leave some of these items at home,
but you must have a driver and a navigator!

A leisurely tour/rally, w/ an easy enroute Photo ID test, to BIG BEAR
for a festive Luncheon (no host), via a routing you probably haven’t driven.
Optional fun return route via the ‘Crestline-backdoor’.

Start: San Juan Capistrano, s.e. corner Ortega Hwy and Rancho Viejo,

just east of I-5 and Ortega Hwy (Hwy 72) interchange

Registration: ‘The Day-of’, opens at 9:00 AM on site; Cost: $10 per car.

We plan to depart by 9:30.

OCR Presents a Gimmick Rallye
CIRCLE AROUND THE CAMP
“A Tour-Rallye of Historic Significance”

 The Challenge: Follow the route, find & correctly list the photo objects, and also correctly answer the Bonus Question(s).

Start Location: Parking lot at southeast corner of Ortega Hwy 74 @ Rancho Viejo Road, just inland from I-5.

Event Schedule: Registration 8:30 AM / Driver’s Meeting at 9:00 AM / 1st car OUT 9:30 / lunch 12:00 PM

Specifics: Drive approx. 100 mi. / drive time approx. 2.5 hrs / no-host lunch and awards at conclusion (restaurant to be selected, probably a pizza store) / we should wrap by 2:30 PM.

Awards: All entering cars will receive an Event Windshield Plaque, and the winning teams (driver and navigator) will receive individual Event Medals.

Registration: $10 per car / Registration will be the ‘ Day-Of ’ (beginning at 8:30 AM) at the Park N Ride site.

This is a GIMMICK Rallye; no experience required to succeed as FUN is the priority. The Rallyemeister suggests you arrive with a full tank of gas, an empty bladder, a clean windshield, a clipboard and a couple of pencils and/or pens.
